Ann E. Healy, Senior Advisor

Ann E. Healy, FLMI/M, FALU, FLHC, HIA ACS, AIAA, has more than 25 years claims experience in the Life and Health Insurance Industry. Her expertise extends beyond claim management and investigation to underwriting, contract interpretation, insurance law and compliance, and market conduct. Ms. Healy has managed claim operations in Canada and the United States and provided extensive consultant services to major US insurance carriers. For nine years she has specialized in domestic and foreign insurance claim investigations, most of that time spent working alongside and learning from a legendary master investigator, the late Joe Healy, who was also an active advisory board member of GlobalSource. He established John J. Healy Investigations over 30 years ago and Ms. Healy became co-owner in 2002. She has investigated bona-fide and fraudulent claims from all over the world, including contestable, suspicious death, murder, homicide, and body substitution claims on life, viatical and investor owned policies. Ms. Healy has also presided over many conference workshops on such topics as Foreign Death Claim Investigation, The Importance of Thorough Waiver of Premium Claim Adjudication and Interpreting Disability Income Contracts. For several years, she has been active with the Eastern Claims Conference (ECC) as a volunteer and was recently appointed co-chair of the ECC Promotion Committee. She also served as a member of the Life Insurance Institute of Canada (LIIC) Executive Claims Committee before moving to the US. In addition to her insurance industry career, Ms. Healy has worked for many years as a Volunteer Probation Officer.
