GS partners with TDE, Saudi Arabia

July 16 - GlobalSource signed a partnering agreement with TDE (Technical Development Est.), an established security company based in Khobar, Saudi Arabia. TDE will assist GlobalSource in marketing its existing service lines including physical security, corporate due diligence and country risk analysis.
GS manages K-9 Security

April 02- GlobalSource signed an interim agreement to manage K-9 Security Services Ltd., a leading private security and intelligence firm based in Cyprus with immediate effect, and with an eye to eventual acquisition of the concern. In another significant move to expand our capabilities in the security field, our advisory board member Aric Mutchnick has agreed to join our management team and has been appointed Director, Security Services.

Feb. 28, 2008 - Again this year, GlobalSource was a sponsor at the annual Eastern Claims Conference (ECC), a major insurance industry conference (on whose board our new advisory board member Ann Healy is a member). Ann Healy joins Advisory Board
Feb. 01, 2008 - GlobalSource is delighted to announce the addition of Ann Healy as another valuable member to our advisory board, expanding our expertise and enhancing relations with important clients in the insurance sector. Ann has more than 25 years claims experience in the Life and Health Insurance Industry - encompassing claim management, investigations, underwriting, contract interpretation, insurance law and compliance, and market conduct. Ms. Healy has managed claim operations in Canada and the United States and provided extensive consultant services to major US insurance carriers. For nine years she has specialized in domestic and foreign insurance claim investigations, most of that time spent working alongside and learning from a legendary master investigator, the late Joe Healy, who was also an active advisory board member of GlobalSource.

Company co-founder Bill Marshall has sold his interest in the firm to his partner Bill Hutman and left GlobalSource to pursue a new venture. GlobalSource thanks him sincerely for his contribution to the first years of the company and wishes him well.
All hands on deck for Cyprus 2007
Sep. 26, 2007 - GlobalSource was represented at the maritime industry's prestigious 4-day international conference at the historic Evagoras Lanitis Centre in Limassol. The conference is billed as "the leading event that brings together the world's shipping community." Manager John Colias represented GlobalSource at its stand, with assistance from two visiting company directors.
Intelligence Online profiles GS leaders
May 25, 2007 - The respected French-based international business and economic intelligence system Intelligence Online carries a profile of GlobalSource's advisory board in its latest edition. The article states:
"The GlobalSource firm that was founded by former security industry executives has appointed an advisory board on which intelligence specialists rub shoulders with former private sector bosses.
Frederick Hegner, who was vice president and special project advisor to the American insurance giant AIG until last year, has just been named to the advisory board of the U.S. investigative firm.
Up to now, GlobalSource, founded in 2004, had mainly recruited its advisors from among the ranks of former intelligence officers. The firm's consultative board is chaired by Gerard Burke, an ex deputy director of the National Security
